    Okay, so for clarification, if I want NPCs not to use pistols if they have assualt rifles, smgs, ect I go into the weapon file and set the min range to 0? Because I don't want NPCs who don't have assualt rifles but do have pistols to not use the pistols.

  12. My reputation is excelent, I'm an expert, and I'm in freeplay. So I doubt it's that. I've never noticed that option. Next time it comes up, I'll check.

    Question: What file is the setting for the pistol use based on range in, and how can I remove it without breaking the game? If I can't remove it, then how can I make it so that the NPCs never use pistols? Like set the max and min range to 0?

    Huh, it was something to do with the DV, because I reloaded an earlier savei n the Cordon rookie camp and it ran fine.
  16. Where do they leave them? I can never find them. And 3 rucksakcs would be great for me, because I simply cannot find any goddamned gifts whenever one gets left. You also get gifts for psudoegiants, or so STALKERnet says.
  17. Hey, do people actually leave gifts when they say they do? Because I've never been able to find them. Anyway, another suggestion: 1. Don't get rid of blowouts in freeplay. 2. You know how NPCs advance and rank and by themselves new suits? Well, they should do the same with weapons. I.E: I found a guy in Cordon with a gasmask suit on, was a veteran, and had only a Makarov. I lol'ed. Really, they should by weapons for themselves as they advance in rank aswell. That way I won't have to supply experts in STALKER suits who have only TOZ-34s.

    The Spetsnaz has a mask on. I've never seen any soldier wearing blacklava before. Anyway, anyone know what my problem is?

    Uh, I keep crashing. With this: Expression : fatal error Function : CScriptEngine::lua_error File : E:\stalker\patch_1_0004\xr_3da\xrGame\script_engine.cpp Line : 73 Description : <no expression> Arguments : LUA error: ...ow of chernobyl\gamedata\scripts\bind_stalker.script:208: attempt to concatenate field '?' (a nil value) First what I did was, with my old version of AMK Arsenal, I thought I merged something wrong, so I got my AMK Gamedata folder, made it my gamedata, and then installed AMK Arsenal over that. I installed it up to 1.31, then copy-pasted my custom weapon randimization over the current weapon randimization. (the gameplay folder) Then I loaded up a autosave I had from my previous (messed up) Arsenal game (to the dark valley from Cordon) and crashed with this. Tried to load my cordon quicksave (right in the Dark Valley entrance tunnel) and again crashed. Now I have no idea what it could be, because I didn't merge anything over it this time, except for AMK Arsenal with AMK (which you're supposed to do.) I'm wondering if I screwed up merging them togther, but if I did I think it wouldn't even start or I'd get a different error.

    Hmm, for some reason this mod removes portable stashes from trader's inventories. It cost me a custom Saiga 12C and a G36, because I dropped them on the arena rooftop and apperantly while I was away physics in the bar level fucked up and they get flung every which way, so now I can't find them. I know shit got flung around because I had my shotgun ammo in a pile and now it's spread all over the rooftop. Also, IMO, get rid of the pistol use by distance, but pistol use by weapon. It would incorrparate both distance and something else. If someone is using a sub machine gun, or a shot gun, assualt rifle, or machine gun, they should never switch to their pistol. Ever. Unless they loose their main firearm. However, if they are using a grenade launcher, RPG, or sniper, then they should change pistols based on distance. Because, face it, even if you were 3 meters away from an enemy in real life, and you had a fully loaded AK-74 + ammo for it and a Makarov, you'd use the AK-74. And if you wouldn't, then eathier you don't have said AK in your hands, or you're a loonie. EDIT: HOLY MADRE OF GOD. I found something very, very special. . He was a Spetsnaz seargent Also, I recomend editing the AKS-74p and (when it's added in) the AK-74M magazines to black rather than bakelite, because the -74M and -74p series use black magazines.

    Oh lawldy. I found my problem. I was using some faulty AMK data I had downloaded a long time ago. Hence the missing files. Sorry silverpower. No hard feelings? And reports from Pripyat using Arsenal! The game really does become very fun after unlocking freeplay. Much freeer AI. And my tweaking of Skull's weapon randimization helped. Bunch of DUTY with PKMs, a few with RPGs, and lots of Freedom with FN2000s and a few with PKMs. Not to mention the fact that I FOUND SPARROW DEAD IN THE BLOODY FREEDOM BASE! He was in that little basin area next to the wall DUTY blows up. He died by a pack of dogs that had taken residence there. And unlocking Freeplay=Mutants become pissed at Freedom. Their Saiga-12s and PKMs didn't help them out against the 500 or so snorks and various other assorted mutants. :V SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO TOWN. (Rest of the stuff he has are AN-94s, LR-300s, FN2000s, P90s, RPG-7s (Which he is now using) and other assorted amazingly powerful and valuable weapons/artifacts.) Barin in the Army Wharehouses (P.S: About the soldier thing, Freeplay sets some Spetsnaz colonel apeshit or something, because little four man strike teams pop up everywhere. Army Wharehouses, Yantar, you name it.) The hell?! Random dead STALKER in the flesh field next to the Freedom barrier! (he had a Belini sawn-offl but I couldn't get a shot of it due to flesh hoard.) See? What did I tell you? Dead Sparrow.

    I'm sorry, that wasn't clear, I meant that I made a backup gamedata folder before installing AMK Arsenal and switched between it and that. I just dragged the gamedata folder over the eixisting one. I'm not sure how it could be deleting files, but it is. I might have a virus or something.

    Hurr hurr smartass, did you not read anything I said before? Try reading before posting. I've had AMK for a long, long time. Arsenal delted those files. I got them working with the help of a friend, but I know it is Arsenal that broke them. Why? I tried switching my gamedata folder between AMK Arsenal and AMK. AMK ran fine. Arsenal did not. I had AMK installed. Arsenal deleted the files. If i hadn't had AMK installed, how would I have had the expirence posted a little bit up? MAGIC I GUESS LOL RITE?

Skull, really, you need to get this together. This is a great mod, but most of the downloads have alot of files missing.
