There are a lot of mods (add-ons) for the AMK Mod 1.4.

 

Mod installation/merging tips

Do not overwrite one mod files with others, especially - if there's a script conflict.

If you want to install more than one similar mod over AMK, do the correct merging.

 

Good example of additional mod installation:

 

- AMK Weather Mod

- AMK Pollux Add-on

- AI Pack Final

 

No file conflicts at all.

Bad example:

 

- AI Pack Final

- Smart Marauder Mod

- New Level Changer

 

A lot of script conflicts, simple overwrite installation will cause a lot of problems.

If you don't have a modding skills enough for merging them, don't even try to install so complex mods at the same time.

I'll post the mod/add-ons list there soon.

 

It is the download list thread. Please, do not post your opinions there.

If you want to discuss about a mod, create a separate discussion thread for it.

Dynamic Combat Music Pack

Version - 1.2

 

 

Description

 

 

Pack, containing files required for dynamic music work in AMK Mod 1.4.

Not implemented in AMK to reduce the weight of installer.

 

Mod add interactive music to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It's based on "adrenaline" scheme, and

depends on many factors: your distance and visibility to the enemy, their count,

aggressiveness, combat intensiveness, etc.

 

There is no music, tied to scenario events - it's interactive, and appear only in

intensive combat. It's not recommended to install it with another music mods to

prevent track imposition.

 

Track selection also depends on the location. Every map has it's own atmosphere

because of different music themes.

 

Mod content 14 high-quality tracks, divided on «tension degree».

 

Mod use music from the following games: Dungeon Keeper, Mortal Kombat 5,

Unreal Tournament 3, Half-Life 2, Hitman: Contracts, Hitman: Blood Money,

Quake 3, Chrome, etc. All music belong to respective owners.

Description

 

The main purpose of development of this mod was to get rid of the silly weather in AMK Mod. Yes, it's completely random, but in the most cases it was raining and raining, rainning and raining... and, also - bad weather configuration with messed up lighting, wrong sun movement, colors, etc.

 

Any weather mod is incompatible with AMK, so, he've decided to make it for my own. There were created a new group of configs: with detailed and beatiful weather, normal colors, dark nights, balanced rain/clear hours...

 

There are three presets:

 

- September:

 

There are four weather events: dawn, sunset, clear and warm hours afternoon, and some clear hours at night, with the moon. In this events, you'll see beatuful, detailed weather for sure. In all another hours - the weather is completely random.

 

- October:

 

The same as the "September", but there's a probability of heavy storms with lightings: for example, you'll see the clear morning only with 75% probability - in another case, you'll see the storm. Weather is a bit cold and not so shiny as it was in "September".

 

- Depressive:

 

Dark, depressive preset with fog before the the dawn and after the sunset, dark colors. Rainy weather is frequent. Warm, shiny days are rare.

 

- Mist (DX9 only):

 

Similar to the Depressive, but with very beautiful and intensive fog, and very low chance of a clear weather.

 

 

To install this mod, copy the gamedata from the "common files" folder to your game directory. Then, choose the weather preset you like, and copy it too.

Optional: you can also install Sky4CE mod, that bring steep parallax mapping to the game, and improved realistic torch config.

 

You can calibrate your ingame brightness level with "color visibility test.jpg". It's good, if you see at least two symbols on the black and white fields.

With that NightVz Weather mod - it is EXCELLENT!! absolutely no question - BUT, I found I've had to go thru and edit the weather_default_clear.ltx file - adding a zero in front of the ambient = values for daytime hours (ie. make 0.34 to be 0.034) else shadows are too dim and indoors are not sufficiently dark. I've also put slightly higher values as well as the zero in front for hours between 1100 and 1500 (just so it looks properly daytime). With those small changes it's all great!

 

edit - had done the zero infront edit for all the weather_defaults but found the weather_default_clear.ltx was the only one that actually needs it.

Hi all guys

I wanna just remember , about this MOD, that about me it's "Compatible patch" is not compatible at all.

It's going to disable the random weather feature in AMK Mod , so i don't see anything about compatible in a thing like that.

If, and when, it will be really compatible, it could be a nice addon, but for the moment remember what i just said about

it, so that you know what it's really doing when you install it over AMK.

For those guys who wanted to play AMK with SmartMarauder!

Here's description of new version of Marauder by Skunk.

 

Intellectual Marauder Mod 1.5 for AMK 1.4

 

Author: Skunk

 

This is modified Smart Marauder Mod v1.4 by DEXXX

 

This mode allows you to pick up armour from dead enemies... and friends;). Now all armour is the same as displayed, it's always the same!

 

You can find outfits not at all corpses. In affort to save the balance stalkers will buy outfits at VERY low prices. Stalkers now don't buy the cheapest armour.

 

Now you can pick up armour even from zombies. But mode's athour thinks that zombies are too easy preys for bloodthirsty Actors, so, if you'll search their poor corpses, you'll find a nice surprise.

 

Chances of outfits to appear in a corpse (all outfits are now shared into five categories) (like in AI Pack by xStream) :

- jackets and mackintoshes - 65%,

- light kevlars - 55%,

- middle kevlars - 45%,

- heavy kevlars and SKAT's - 35%,

- exoskeletons - 25%.

Let's think that usual jackets or light kevlars have better for Marked One size, than exo, which was made exactly like a figure of corpse.

 

Conditions of outfits, which were got from dead people:

- jackets and mackintoshes - 55%-75%,

- light kevlars - 45%-75%,

- medium-class armour - 35%-75%,

- heavy kevlars and SKAT's - 25%-75%,

- exoskeletons - 15%-85%.

Let's think that expensive armor has a big wear and tear because of high price of repairing (if you remember each average NPC hasn't more than 5000 RU).

 

Except outfits from "Wider Choice of Outfits" (All_Armor_Mod), which is a part of IMM, was added some new outfits. Gravitykevlar, bandit's exoskeleton, modified stalker's outfit, guard's kevlar (from Bar) and monolith's with gas-mask.

 

Bandit's exoskeleton appears in Barman's range after turning off the Skorcher or in Skinflint's range after destruction of Duty's troops. Also this exo can be found in the hiding-place after getting the information from Duty soldier caught in cage on bandit's base in DV after his discharge. Also, all bandits with rank "Master" now wear exoskeletons, so you have chance to get this outfit from their corpses. All other outfits you can also pick up from corpses.

 

To install this modification just copy folder "gamedata" from archive to game's directory, agreeing replacement of files. You don't need to start new game.

 

Don't forget to make backup of all changed files. Also I want to tell you that all saves that you made with this modification won't work after moving away this mode.

Mode's author remaked something in IMM for compability with AI pack and NLC. Exactly he's done that thing - NPC's clothe into that armor that You gave them. There are 2 exception - Suty soldiers and Freedomers remake outfits into outfits of their groupes. Army soldiers, Scientists, Mercenaries and Monolithes wear only their type of armor. But neutrals and bandits now don't have any restrictions and wear that type of outfit which you gave them. Also he lowered NPC's "embaressment" - if you want to redress NPC into his new costume, you hould just get off his field of vision.

hey shadow tony, is there any other mods that make all the npcs spawn with random weapons (based on skill) and better random stashes? What other cool mods are there for amk in russian?

I'm having the same problem as odugen, I can't figure out how to download IMM with AIpack from ifolder. Clicking on "Скачать файл" (which looks like the logical choice) doesn't do anything, it's not even a link. A mirror would be greatly appreciated.

 

Another question: suppose I get IMM+AIpack+weathermod, will I be able to also use AMK_Arsenal mod without any conflicts?

I'm going to guess that IMM and/or the AIpack Final use files that are also changed by my mod. If I can get it downloaded I'll see what I can do about making a compatible version.

Yet another question though: are you going to implement the PLR realistic weapons mod with your new weapons?

Which is what I just did. After taking a look at Intellectual_Marauder_Mod_1.5_for_AMK_1.4_with_AIPack, the only common files between it and my mod are the three files in config/misc/shop_sidr, and the files textures\ui\ui_icon_equipment.dds and textures\textures.ltx. So with a whopping five files in common, it shouldn't be too tough to make them compatible. The hardest part would be adjusting my ui_icon_equipment.dds to work with theirs, or the other way around. Unfortunately this will have to wait until after I get my hands on all those new guns and add them to the mod. So, it can be done, but it's going to be a while.

Guys , this is not "compatible" at all... it only have one of the different "set" of files that are different for each resolution

You could choose in the setup, so using this files, if you haven't the same exact resolution that diehard2222 was

using you'll get CTD cause the game cannot find the scope texture that is linked into this files.

 

I have a request... is there anyone that could translate in English the Readme.doc from Weather Mod by NightVz, pls ?
