An unkillable NPC.

So, I have just about every Stalker in the Loner group really annoyed and wanting me dead, which I believe is because I stabbed Wolf to death when I didn't have any medkits and he wouldn't die from blood loss quick enough. That's beside the point, I've already killed everyone at the rookie camp...except for one guy! The guy you start with who gives you the medkit. He is an invincible killing machine, which I already knew from when he wiped out the carpark all by himself when I first started, then he proceeded to kill the military roadblock by the train tracks immediately after while running through every anomaly there was. I didn't care about that too much since he just went back to the rookie camp afterward and saved me a load of trouble. Anyway, now at the rookie camp he's there, immortal and waiting to put a few rounds in me. I've got a save game where I'm facing off against him, he's hiding in the little underground area you start in with him. I've fired on him pointblank with a shotgun, didn't kill him...and it should have, no matter the armor he has on since I hit him in the face. I've gotten close enough after he tossed a grenade at me to knife him, and he just shrugs it off like it's a paper cut and not a serious knife wound!

 

I need to be able to get rid of this guy, but I don't even know what his name is since it's still in Russian and I can't read Russian, I can barely speak it.

 

One more thing since I have you here, if I stab a stalker who's only company is a pack of wild dogs running around aimlessly with no one to witness it, how can everyone possibly know I am the culprit and shoot on sight? It makes no sense, no one saw me do it, how do they instantly know I did it? Because when I got to Garbage to talk to the guy in the junkyard, everyone there turned and fired on me, killing me right there because I killed some guy in a desolate area that only blind dogs would have even known about. It's even more confusing since I was able to sneak around the rookie camp for awhile backstabbing a few Stalkers and no one seemed to notice or care, they just looted what I couldn't carry off them.

 

Thanks in advance for the help. To be 100% clear, what I need to know is how to disable the starter guys godmode so I can have the rookie camp all to myself and Sidrovich.

 

 

PS. I can no longer use F to open the door to Sidrovich, I have to knife it open, and all the locker doors suddenly lose the ability to be interacted with. Not a big deal for me, just something you may wish to correct later on. Using AMK 1.4.1, which I figure deserves mention since apparently there is a 2.0 out now. ^^

I can only guess at what you mean. That's not really helping my problem here, telling me to get another game instead. I only need for the starting guy to be killable so I can actually continue with the game. It's ridiculous he can survive a point-blank shotgun blast to the face. I have to confess, I have no clue what NLTS is, or if that's even what you wrote, since I had to use Google. Also, I only ever killed Wolf on purpose since at the time Sidrovich wasn't selling anything and there were no medkits around for me to give him and I needed the info he had. I never wanted to kill the rest of the Stalkers, but they forced me to by opening fire on me first. When I get back to the camp I find the immortal still there and with no way to get rid of him. I'm in a position where I can run right out of the camp and escape the guy, but I'm going to have to return to buy stuff from Sidrovich eventually, and I don't want the immortal waiting for me...so I need to be able to take away his immortality, if someone could inform me how.

First of all, you haven't original STALKER with AMK-mod but with NLC add-on. You should install original version of AMK and all your problems will be resolved.

And you are too cruel in my opinion. Kill only enemies.

Hm, I looked up NLC, but I don't recall ever installing that alongside AMK. And I wanted to save Wolf at first, I really did! I even ran back to Sidrovich to see if he was selling medkits, but like I said, at the time he wasn't and I'd already used the medkit I did find on the ground to save a different Stalker, I honestly had no choice. Any killing of Stalkers after that was just in self-defense. Well, except the couple I snuck around in the rookie camp with, but I did load saves after that, I was just testing weaponry. So, I'm in the wrong place to be asking about disabling this guys immortality, aren't I?

Ok, so I'm just stuck dodging this guy until I either start a new game or finish my current. Oh well, I'll just run to Bar and use the vendor there. I don't seem to have any reason to be at the Rookie camp anymore. Also, I just realized, I never killed Wolf...I killed Fox. Wolf died of unknown causes in Agroponom, I think the wild dogs got to him. Oh well. Thanks for letting me know.
